Full-scope midwifery care with one dedicated provider
Limited Capacity
I am currently accepting a limited number of birth clients each month for full-scope midwifery care — prenatal care, labor and delivery at Mount Sinai West Hospital, and postpartum support. To guarantee deeply attentive, unhurried, and continuous care, I accept a strictly limited number of birth clients per month. This means one midwife — me — at every prenatal visit, on call for your birth, and supporting you through your postpartum recovery.
By choosing EKD Midwifery, you are securing the clinical sophistication and institutional depth of my former practice, Central Park Midwifery, but in an exclusive, one-on-one format. You receive the same high-standard educational documents, the same elite referral network, and the same veteran relationships at Mt. Sinai West—without ever having to wonder which midwife will be on call!
A Legacy of Trusted Resources: Clients of EKD Midwifery receive exclusive access to the comprehensive educational curriculum and clinical protocols developed and refined over years at Central Park Midwifery. You benefit from a library of evidence-based resources that have supported thousands of successful births.
Decades of Curated Referrals: My “vetted” list of specialists—from pelvic floor therapists and acupuncturists to maternal-fetal medicine experts—is the result of over 15 years of networking in the NYC birth community. You aren't just getting a name; you're getting a professional connection I have trusted for over a decade.
The Deepest Roots at Mt. Sinai West: As the longest-standing midwife from the CPM team at Mt. Sinai West, my relationship with the hospital staff, nursing teams, and physicians is unparalleled. These long-term professional bonds ensure smoother communication and stronger advocacy for you within the hospital system.
The Stability of Experience: While EKD Midwifery is a personalized micropractice, it is built on the foundation of a provider who has navigated every complexity of the NYC birth landscape. You get the agility of a private midwife with the seasoned clinical judgment of a veteran practice owner.
Steadiness Across Every Setting: From the initial consultation to the hospital room, you are supported by the provider who has the most seniority and history with the local medical institutions. This means your care transitions are seamless and your presence in the hospital is backed by a reputation for excellence.
Consistency creates a better pregnancy journey. Research shows that seeing the same familiar providers (especially midwives) throughout your prenatal care significantly improves your overall birth experience, reduces stress, and leads to better health outcomes for both you and your baby.
Your prenatal journey begins with a comprehensive intake and continues with regular visits throughout your pregnancy. Together we cover everything you need:
